About Us

At Level Up, we are passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment where dancers can learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of dance. Our studio is thoughtfully equipped with mirrors, ballet barres, and plenty of space where dancers can feel comfortable, confident, and inspired to grow.

We offer a variety of classes for dancers of all ages and experience levels, from introductory classes for our youngest dancers to ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, flexibility and technique, and more. Whether your dancer is stepping into a studio for the very first time or looking to challenge themselves and take their training to the next level, our goal is to provide quality instruction while making sure every dancer feels encouraged, valued, and excited to be here.

Meet Mrs. Ashley

Hi! I’m Ashley Sheeks, the owner and director of Level Up Performing Arts.

Dance has been a huge part of my life for more than 25 years. I began dancing at age three, started competing at seven, and continued through high school, training through a studio as well as performing on the Benton Ranger Girls Dance Team. During my senior year, I was honored to be selected for the NDA All-American Team.

Throughout my dance career, I’ve had the opportunity to train with renowned dancers and choreographers including Matt Steffanina and Dana Alexa. I’ve also earned state and national titles and numerous choreography awards. While I’m incredibly proud of those accomplishments, they aren’t what inspired me to open Level Up.

I created Level Up to build the kind of studio I believe every dancer deserves — a place where students are challenged without being torn down, encouraged without being coddled, and pushed outside their comfort zones while still feeling safe, valued, and believed in.

My goal is to develop more than strong dancers. I want my students to build confidence, resilience, discipline, creativity, and work ethic, while learning that talent may open a door, but effort, attitude, and determination are what carry you through it.

Most importantly, I want Level Up to feel like family — a place where dancers can work hard, chase big goals, make memories, laugh, be themselves, and still just be kids. Dance is simply the vehicle I use to help develop confident, capable humans.

Contemporary is my favorite style to teach, jazz is my favorite to perform, and hip hop has always been one of my specialties. But my favorite part of teaching is watching a dancer realize they are capable of more than they ever thought possible.

Outside of the studio, I’m a wife and mom to four amazing children. I’ve been married to my husband since April 2016, and my family is a huge part of who I am and why Level Up feels like home.

I believe dance should challenge a dancer — but it should never crush them.

I’m incredibly grateful to every dancer and family who chooses to be part of our big, crazy, wonderful Level Up family. 💚
